            The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) is HUD's largest national affordable housing program, serving more than 1.8 million families, and with a budget authority currently more than $13 billion annually.  Housing Choice Vouchers are administered in all 50 states by more than 2600 Housing Authorities, non-profits, and governmental agencies.
